南米の川の広さが伝わるでしょうか？ アルゼンチンアリの故郷、ラプラタ川水系最大の川、パラナ川です。日本語版ウィキペディアによると、「パラナ」という名前は先住民族の言語で「神の母」を意味するそうです。が、英語版ウィキペディアには全然ちがうことが書いてあります。。本日の写真は、5/29, 31のブログポストに出てくる橋の上から川を見下ろして撮ったものです。川の風景写真ばかり掲載してきたので、次回以降はすこし話題を変えます。

Can you feel the width of the river? Parana River is the native range of Argentine ants. The Japanese version of Wikipedia says 'Parana' means 'mother of God' in the aboriginal language, but the English version of Wikipedia says differently. OMG, I'm not sure of the truth.
